A fast drawing of a faster than expected experience. One minute you have a 21 " long baby- next minute that baby is towering over you. Step stools become necessary when asking "Did you do your homework?" "Did you clean your room?" "Did you feed the dog!?" - Like I know anything about this- personally? ... hmmmmmmmm.... could be.

Fabulous illo. Love the design. The mother's pose is great and so is the boy's expression. You can tell he is enjoying his mother's need for a step stool and reach. This reads very well. Perfect story telling.
Hey Kelly, I came out of my cave of work. even took a shower to come over and visit you he he he! I've been so busy, but I needed to take break and come over to visit. I love this illustration. What a hoot!! It's wonderful!! You always, always make me laugh and lift my spirits! This is great!!!!
