Illustration Friday "Detective"




Bringing this back for IF this week. This is my husband's absolute favorite thing I have ever drawn. I should have it printed and framed for him. - There's a whole story that goes along with this illustration... Someday.. I'll get the dummy done!

That's a great idea, to frame this as a gift for your husband! It's beautiful and so much going on in the scene that keeps you exploring. Every character is so alive. I'd love to walk into this place and sit down at a table...

Wow! These were my favorite illustrations as a kid, where you can spend so much time getting lost and looking at every detail. It's amazing. Be proud!

I'm re-commenting. This piece has been stuck in my head. I worked on this darling film that no one saw, called Cat's Don't Dance. There is a scene in the film called Animal Jam. This piece reminds me of that scene (it's the about the same time period.) Check it out, you may enjoy it! By the way, I love your soundtrack...

Kim- I saw that movie when it came out- fab looking. My daughter has watched it 35 times too. I worked on Rover Dangerfield- don't check that out!;)
