There was a girl who liked to Roller Disco. She'd roll around to beats that made her feet go. Quite the rolla'; could Air chair -n- backwards skate; Only Mom could get her to brake. From dawn to dusk she'd shimmy down; All the streets of Funky Town.

I'm gonna expand on this. It makes me happy to remember 1979. Kathy- I did have boot skates- after the metal- over the show ones - with metal wheels. I recently found my skate key!! - Mags is afraid to skate- sigh. - ps- my shorts were satin! and my shirt had sequins on top of some kind of polyester weave!!! - I was hottttt! HA!

My shirts were satin and my pants were WHITE - but by no stretch of the imagination was I "hot" - rather, gangly.
I love this girl!! Great groovy style and excellent sense of motion. I wish I had been that coordinated.
